CPP4ALL KICK-OFF Conference: Call for Applications

We are happy to announce that the Kick-Off Meeting for the Cultural Property for All COST Action will take place on the 17th and 18th of February in Podgorica (Montenegro). At this meeting we will present the goals of the action and outline plans for the upcoming year. We will then host break-out sessions where members of the three scientific Working Groups (WG1, WG2, WG3) plus a thematic session about Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs) will discuss goals and make initial plans for constructive collaboration. We hope this will be the start of a productive COST Action.

COST provides reimbursement for transport costs (e.g., train or airfare) associated with attending the event as well as a per diem to cover hotel and other accommodation costs. As such, only a limited number of Working Group members can attend this meeting in person. There are 75 spaces available for members, with an eye towards gender balance. Also 5 spaces are earmarked in each working group for young/early career researchers (under the age of 40).

Those who wish to attend are asked to register their interest by 23 January 2026. To do so, complete the form available at the following LINK.

The Core Group, led by the WG leader, will accept attendees based on their match with the focus of the action and the goals of each working group. Selected candidates will be notified shortly after 23 January so that they can make travel plans.

Please do not make any travel arrangements until you receive the official invitation via e-COST.

In order to ensure fairness and transparency the following criteria will be used to evaluate each request:

  • Quota for YRIs: ensuring dedicated participation slots for Young Researcher and Innovators (YRIs).
  • Geographical balance: securing representation from members across different participating countries.
  • Inclusiveness and diversity: considering institutional, disciplinary, gender and/or career-stage diversity.
  • Relevance to thematic focus: selecting participants whose expertise aligns with the objectives and content of the event.
  • Contribution to Action goals: prioritizing participants who can add value to the Conference.

For participants unable to attend the conference in person, a hybrid participation modality will be made available to enable remote attendance.
