We are pleased to announce that the CPP4ALL call for conference support grants is now open.
There are three types of grants available to Action members this year, each with a different focus and specification application rules. Please read this announcement carefully before applying. If you have any questions, please ask them here in this post.
With this post, the call for grant applications is officially open.
General Guidelines for All Grants
- Grants must be requested via the e-COST platform. Please login and on the right under the green “Profile” banner click “Apply for a Grant”. Only documents submitted through the platform will be evaluated.
- Grants up to 1000 EUR may be requested for conference-related travel expenses. Requests for less than 1000 EUR are encouraged.
- Approved funds will be transferred to the awardee after the travel period, upon submission of proof of attendance and an activity report on the e-COST platform.
- Funds are issued in the amount requested and approved; receipts and reimbursement are not required.
- Unreasonable funding requests will be rejected, and double funding (e.g., receiving both an Short Term Scientific Mission Grant and a Conference Grant within the same period) is not permitted by COST.
- Applicants are advised to stay within or below the COST daily rate and to plan for economy travel.
- Conference attendance outside the direct scope of the Action will not be funded.
- Grants are awarded on a rolling basis (first come, first served), until the available funds are exhausted.
- In the case of underspending, additional grant opportunities may be made available.
Young Researcher and Innovator Conference Grant
- Total funds available this period: at least 3600 EUR
- Supports an oral or poster presentation of your own work within the scope of the Action at an eligible conference
- Applicant must be a Young Researcher and Innovator (i.e., age under 40)
- Applications must include a title, abstract, conference details, and proof of acceptance
- Applicants MUST submit a basic budget to justify the requested funds (upload under “Other”)
Inclusiveness Target Countries Conference Grant
- Total funds available this period: at least 3600 EUR
- Supports an oral presentation of your own work within the scope of the Action at an eligible conference
- Applicant must be from an Inclusiveness Target Country or Near Neighbour Country
- Inclusiveness Target Countries: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Türkiye, and Ukraine
- Near Neighbour Countries: Algeria, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Jordan, Kosovo, Libya, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia
- Applicants must include a title, abstract, conference details, and proof of acceptance
- Applicants MUST submit a basic budget to justify the requested funds (upload under “Other”)
Dissemination Conference Grant
- Total funds available this period: at least 3750 EUR
- Supports an oral presentation by an Action participant presenting the work of the Action at a high-level conference
- Any Action member may apply for this funding
- Applicants are encouraged to enquire here on the forum before applying
- Applications must include a title, abstract, conference details, and proof of acceptance
- Applicants MUST submit a basic budget to justify the requested funds (upload under “Other”)
Selection Process
- Applications that comply with the above guidelines will be evaluated on a rolling basis by the Core Group.
- Applications aligned with the Action’s topics and objectives, and that are appropriately and economically budgeted, will be approved until funds are exhausted.
- Applications that lack required documents, are for an excessive amount, do not follow the guidelines, or clearly fall outside the scope of the Action will be rejected without further consideration.
